What the reports are designed to do
The AI Hair & Face Report describes visible style cues such as face-shape direction, balance, hair framing, and hairstyles that may complement the portrait. The Color Analysis organizes undertone, contrast, and palette ideas. The apparent-age report is intentionally playful.
These reports are meant to make style exploration easier. They are not biometric identification, health analysis, diagnosis, or a measurement of personal value.

Recommendations are starting points
Face-shape frameworks can be useful shorthand, but most faces combine characteristics from more than one category. Hair texture, density, hairline, personal expression, upkeep, and workplace or lifestyle needs may matter more than any single label.
Use the report to expand your options. If a suggestion feels right, preview it. If it does not, ignore it. Your taste and comfort remain the final criteria.
Clear consent and privacy controls
Before a photo is sent for AI processing, Hair Muse shows a specific disclosure naming the data, the recipients, and the purpose. Photo and AI chat permissions are separate and can be withdrawn in Settings → AI Processing.
Hair Muse states that photos and generated processing images held temporarily by its cloud infrastructure are scheduled for automatic deletion within 12 hours. The app does not use submitted photos, AI chat content, or generated results to train Hair Muse models.
Set the right expectation
Hair Muse is a planning and visualization tool. AI-generated results can vary and should not be treated as a guaranteed, medical, biometric, or professional assessment.

Is Hair Muse face recognition?
No. Hair Muse analyzes visible appearance characteristics for the feature you request. It does not use the photo to identify or authenticate you and does not create a Face ID template.
Are the reports medical assessments?
No. Reports are for appearance and style exploration only. The age feature is a playful apparent-age estimate, not a medical or legal age claim.
Can I withdraw photo processing permission?
Yes. In Hair Muse, open Settings → AI Processing and withdraw the photo permission. That blocks future transfers but cannot undo processing you already requested.
Do I need Premium for every report?
Some features, deeper analysis, or usage levels may require a subscription. The current offer and eligibility are shown in the app before purchase.
